1. Scope and acceptance

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") applies to every payment made by you (the "Subscriber") to Aide Tech Systems, a sole-proprietorship enterprise registered as a Micro/Small Enterprise on the Udyam Registration Portal of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India (the "Enterprise", "we", "us", or "our"), for any subscription, recurring charge, one-time charge, or add-on offered on ProjectsPilot — a product offering of the Enterprise accessible at projectspilot.com and its sub-domains (the "Platform"). By completing payment you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Free tier

The Free tier does not involve any payment and therefore no refund question arises. You may use, pause, or stop using the Free tier at any time without notice and without any charge or obligation.

3. How to request a refund

Because our subscription prices are kept deliberately low, paid fees are not covered by a blanket money-back guarantee. Refunds are not automatic — each request is assessed against this Policy, principally the discretionary grounds in Section 4, the service-interruption credit in Section 8, and any right you have under applicable law. To raise a request:

  • Send an email to refund@projectspilot.com from the email address registered on your ProjectsPilot account.
  • In the subject line, write "Refund request — <Subscriber name>".
  • In the body, mention your registered phone number or User ID and the reason for your request.

We will acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days. Where a refund is due under this Policy, we will process it within five (5) business days of acknowledgement, and the amount will reflect in the original payment instrument within three (3) to ten (10) business days thereafter, depending on the Subscriber's bank and the payment processor (Razorpay).

4. Discretionary refunds

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We do not commit to a refund in any specific circumstance, but we may, at our sole discretion, offer one or more of the following remedies:

  • A prorated refund of the unused portion of an annual subscription, less any discounts received and applicable payment-processing fees;
  • A credit equivalent to the unused portion that can be applied to a future purchase;
  • A free extension of the existing subscription for a comparable period;
  • A migration to a different plan at the same price.

For requests made on grounds of a substantive product defect or an extended service outage, see Section 8 below.

5. Cancellation of recurring subscriptions

You may cancel any recurring subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel inside the Platform. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing period. You retain full access to all paid features until the period ends; we do not charge an early-termination fee.

Cancellation does not, by itself, constitute a refund request. To request a refund for an already-charged period, follow Section 3 or 4 above.

6. Refund method

Refunds are credited to the original payment instrument used for the purchase. We do not issue cash refunds, bank-transfer refunds to alternative accounts, or cheque refunds. If the original instrument is no longer active (expired card, closed wallet), our payment processor will work with the Subscriber's bank or wallet provider to route the refund per their applicable procedures; we cannot influence the routing or timeline in that scenario.

Refunds are made in Indian Rupees (INR), in the amount originally charged. We do not adjust for currency fluctuations.

7. Non-refundable scenarios

The following are not eligible for a refund except where mandated by applicable law:

  • Subscriptions where the Subscriber has consumed more than 50% of the included quota of AI Tutor messages, mock tests, materials, or any other metered feature for the billing period in question.
  • Charges resulting from the Subscriber failing to cancel a recurring subscription before the next billing date. (See Section 5 for how to cancel.)
  • One-time purchases of add-on items (if and when such items are introduced) that have been redeemed or downloaded.
  • Charges where the account has been suspended or terminated for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy in our Terms of Service, including but not limited to fraud, abuse, scraping, or attempting to share access across multiple persons.
  • Any third-party charges (telecom carrier SMS, mobile data, wallet conversion fees) that the Subscriber may incur while using the Platform.

8. Refunds for service interruption

If the Platform is unavailable for a continuous period exceeding seventy-two (72) hours during a paid billing period and the unavailability is attributable solely to a fault or omission on our part (and not to a force-majeure event, scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance, or an event caused by a third-party service provider over whom we have no control), Subscribers may apply for a service-credit refund prorated for the duration of the outage. Apply within thirty (30) days of the outage ending. Approval is at our reasonable discretion based on our incident records and the materiality of the impact on your use of the Platform.

9. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge directly with your card issuer or bank without first attempting to resolve the matter with us through the process in Section 3, we may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate your account pending resolution. We strongly prefer that you contact us first; raising it with us directly means most disputes can be resolved quickly without involving the bank.

10. Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delay or failure in performance of any obligation under this Policy where such delay or failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, war, civil commotion, government action, pandemic, internet or telecommunication infrastructure failure, or denial-of-service attack. In such events, our obligation to process refund timelines under Sections 3 and 8 shall stand extended for the duration of the force-majeure event.

11. Updates to this Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time, including to reflect any future change in the legal form of Aide Tech Systems. The version in force at the time of your payment will govern that payment, unless a later version is more favourable to you. Material changes will be notified by email to your registered address at least fifteen (15) calendar days before they take effect; you may cancel and receive a full refund of the most recent billing period if you do not agree with the changes.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Policy or its breach shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the principal place of business of Aide Tech Systems (as recorded in its Udyam Registration). Where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 confers on the Subscriber a right to file before another forum (consumer commission of appropriate pecuniary jurisdiction), that right is preserved.

13. Grievance officer

Pursuant to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Grievance Officer of the Enterprise is:

Email: grievance@projectspilot.comEntity: Aide Tech Systems (Udyam-registered MSME)Postal address: Parsvnath Regalia, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh - 201005, India

Grievances are acknowledged within twenty-four (24) hours and resolved within fifteen (15) days of receipt, as required by Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
