What are the Schedules of the Indian Constitution?
The Schedules of the Indian Constitution are the twelve appendices carrying its detailed lists — territories, salaries, oaths, Rajya Sabha seats, Scheduled Areas, the tribal areas of the North-East, the three legislative lists, 22 scheduled languages, protected land-reform laws, the anti-defection code, and the 29 panchayat and 18 municipal subjects. The original Constitution had eight.

It is 26 November 1949. The Constituent Assembly adopts the Constitution with 395 Articles + 8 Schedules + 22 Parts. Today (2025): ~448 Articles + 25 Parts + 12 Schedules after 106 constitutional amendments.
